Also known as the Japanese-Filipino Friendship Golf Invitational, the Tomodachi Invitational was conceptualized in 1999 to foster and promote the fellowship and closeness between the CCC Japanese Association and their fellow members. The format was designed in order to encourage and develop camaraderie and cooperation between the host CCC members and the Japanese members who have found a second home in CCC. In time, and due to its popularity, it is now one of the premier annual Tournaments of Cebu Country Club.
A new clubhouse was built in 1981 and its facilities include a restaurant, a bar, a ballroom and function rooms. It also boasts of modern locker rooms for men, ladies and guests.
